Mission
Legionaries invite people into the adventure of living for Christ and equip them to revitalize the Christian heart of the world we live in.
Our goal is to form a new generation of Christian leaders who joyfully bring Christ back into the heart of our society, serving the Church and going out into all arenas of our culture—making Christ’s Kingdom present there.
A Legionary has a magnanimous and fighting heart. He gives himself with passion, desires to do more, wants to go farther. Therefore, attentive to the signs of the times, “making the most of the opportunity” (Eph 5:16), he works with zeal and creativity. He seeks out new paths, advancing the mission on both the pastoral and intellectual frontiers of the Church, aware that every day of fatigue for the Kingdom is a precious gift from God that will never return, and that he gives us time to gain eternity.

Forming Christian leaders to build Christ's Kingdom.
In our mission of forming apostles, Christian leaders at the service of the Church, Legionaries make present the mystery of Christ gathering the Apostles around him, revealing to them the love of his heart, forming them and sending them out to collaborate with him in building up his Kingdom. (Constitutions of the Legionaries of Christ, 4)
Legionaries help people live out their baptismal calling to the full, fostering the spiritual growth, integral formation, and apostolic outreach of men and women who are called to develop and exercise their leadership at the service of Jesus Christ, transforming the personal, family, professional, and social worlds of all people.
We work principally in the fields of spreading the faith; education; evangelization of the family, of culture and of the media, youth work, clergy formation, and the promotion of justice, charity, and solidarity with the neediest, along with the spiritual care and formation of Regnum Christi members from the other vocations in our spiritual family, with whom we share a common charism and mission.
