Fr. Javier Cereceda, LC

Father Javier Cereceda, LC, was born on June 13, 1970, in Spain. He graduated from Everest School in Madrid. From 1996 to 1997, he was a missionary with Regnum Christi. He entered the Legion of Christ Novitiate in Salamanca on September 15, 1997. In 2000, he served as territorial secretary for Italy. He made his perpetual profession on September 15, 2002, and was ordained a priest on December 22, 2007. From 2004 to 2006, he was director of the Young Adults section in Madrid. From 2007 to 2010, he served as the director of the Young Adults  section and local coordinator of apostolate in Valencia. From 2010 to 2013 and again from 2015 to 2016, he was superior of the La Cota Legionary community in Madrid.

He was the director of Everest School Monteclaro from 2010 to 2020. From 2013 to 2020, he served as a territorial advisor for the Legionaries of Christ in Spain. In 2020, he was appointed territorial director for a three-year term, a position he renewed in 2023 for another three years.

He has been a member of the Territorial Directive College of Regnum Christi since 2020, of which he serves as president.
