With heartfelt condolences to the Sharpshair family, may the Sacred Heart of Jesus console them and all who are suffering from this loss. May Our Lord lift Paul up to heaven to be with the Communion of Saints. Requiescat in pace little servant.

My sincere condolences from Rome. May the month of the Sacred Heart of Christ and the Ascension of Christ be our faith, hope, and strength.

May Paul soon receive the eternal light of the Trinity.

First and foremost my deepest sympathies to the Sharpshair Family. I cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak. I pray that your deep faith will comfort you during this most difficult time. I once read that the only thing that separates us from our loved ones who have died is time – I love the hope of that. I also extend my sympathies to Fr. Thomas, his assistants and Paul’s fellow students. May the good Lord bless you all.

Our condolences to the Sharpshair and to the Regnum Christi family around the world. Paul joined blessed José Luis Sanchez del Río in heaven. He may intercede for all his apostolic friends, priests, RC family and for the whole church.

To the Sharpshair Family,

Our hearts are with you during this difficult time. May you be held in the loving arms of God’s peace and love. We are praying for your family and offering up little moments through our days – Mass, the Rosary, adoration. May He be your strength and consolation. May Our Blessed Mother who understands the loss of her own Son walk with you through this time.

I will be praying for Paul’s family as they grieve a beloved son, and will light a candle at the Lourdes Grotto at the campus of Our Lady this weekend during my college reunion. I will also include him at our Class Mass on Friday at 5 pm during the Prayers of the Faithful.

Dear Paul, the Lord gave me a great gift by giving me the chance of meeting you back when I was a Dean in Sacred Heart, you where always so full of life and joy. I’ll never forget our talk after that one soccer game, when you promised me you’d always give it your best to be holy, I have no doubt in my heart that you made it, thanks for your great example on living life to the fullest, see you in heaven buddy!

Paul was a shining light in the apostolic school. Whenever I came to visit from the Notre Dame community, he would shake hands and chit-chat a little. He was eager to learn the Promenade from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition on the trumpet with me accompanying him on the piano, alas, this and so many other things now will never happen. But as Karen Sester has put it so well in her comment, we can hope that his prayers from heaven will shower down many blessings to all that were close to him, and the connection via the Communion of the Saints is never broken.
Still, we all miss his physical presence, and so my prayers extend to all relatives and friends who are in sorrow now. And let us also pray to God for Paul’s eternal joy with Christ and the saints in heaven.

Paul has the gaze and countenance of a precious young saint! Although I don’t know him, I am a sister in Christ to Paul and the Sharpshair family. I am a Consecrated Woman of RC from Dayton Ohio. I live and serve in the Houston Community and want to assure Paul’s loved ones, especially his parents and siblings, of my prayers and the prayers of our whole community. May Jesus, Mary, Joseph and St. Paul intercede and console you in the days, weeks, months and years to come. We bow before this mystery of God.

Dear Paul, it was a pleasure to serve as your religion teacher this year; I attest to how much you loved your Catholic faith. You brought so much enthusiasm to everything you did and to everyone you met. Let’s ask Mary and Jesus to help those grieving your passing: your wonderful parents, brothers and sisters, fellow students, religious and lay staff, and so many many others. Jesus chose to take you to himself on the day of his Ascension into heaven. Your last words to me were ‘Thank you.’ Thank you, Paul, for your patience with me!

I only met Paul a couple times passing through Sacred Heart, but his joy, warmth and eagerness are so memorable, as if he couldn’t wait to live life to the full and be with our Lord. Paul, we’ll miss you and do already, but your joy will forever remind us of what awaits! Thank you.

An amazing young man! So joyful and always eager to greet me whenever I stopped by the school. So blessed to have met him during his short time on this earth.
