Fr. Ryan Richardson serves as chaplain of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He graduated summa cum laude in 2003 from Loyola University in New Orleans, where he obtained a B.B.A. in Economics. After graduation, he served 2 years as a missionary with Regnum Christi and, in 2005, joined the Legionaries of Christ. During his years of priestly formation, he served as an Assistant to the Instructor of Novices in Cheshire, CT, and co-founder of Upper Room Rome. This apostolate networks English speaking Catholic college students in the Eternal City. In 2016, he was ordained to the priesthood and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. He has since served as chaplain of Young Catholic Professionals in Dallas, Texas, and a spiritual director for FOCUS New Staff Training. Besides being chaplain at BC, he is currently director of the Catholic Worldview Fellowship, a summer study abroad program in Germany and Italy for talented college students who seek to evangelize the culture. He is also the section director for Regnum Christi at Benedictine College.
