National Vocation Director
Fr. Martin Connor, LC, oversees the Vocation Directors and Coordinators team. He manages all Vocation Events: Test Your Call, Come and See, retreats, and family visits. Fr. Martin is also responsible for the summer Candidacy Program at the Legionaries of Christ Novitiate and College of Humanities in Cheshire, CT.
Legionary Candidacy is eight weeks each summer, typically June 15-August 15. Prior to being accepted to Candidacy, there are a number of interviews, testing, and application done by Vocation Directors.
Aspirancy Program Director
The Aspirancy Program is an optional introductory program that aids men in taking a concrete step closer to Christ. The program is designed to help discern the “calling” through prayer, study, fraternity, and guidance. Participation enhances the understanding of the priesthood and Legionary life including the charism, mission, and community thus preparing young men for possible future steps like participating in the Legionary Candidacy Summer program.

National Vocation Action Circle Director
Jacqueline Couture-Gonzales is the new National Vocation Action Circle Director. Vocation Action Circle is the lay arm of vocation work in unison with the Legionaries of Christ and Consecrated men and women of Regnum Christi to find and encourage those that God is calling to a priestly or consecrated vocation. The first step of vocation work is to pray to the Lord of the Harvest, placing Our Lord firmly at the center of our work. We pray for all vocations within the Church by launching Adoration for Vocations in dioceses, parishes, schools, and among families.
Ultimately, by engaging the laity to become vocation promoters, we pray for and actively encourage young men and women to prayerfully discern the vocation God is calling them to, with a primary focus on discerning diocesan or religious priesthood or consecrated life before any other vocation.
If you are interested in leading vocation work in your area, please contact Jacqueline Couture-Gonzales at jmgonzales@legionofchrist.org.
